Jacaranda

These vibrant purple trees are in bloom all over town and other parts of Australia.  I first saw this flowering tree in a painting at the Art Gallery in Brisbane and this week they are bustin' open.

And come face to face with another bird, so close you can see the whites of their eyes and pet their fuzzy body.

To be able to see inside so easily....
