Red and Green Kangaroo Paw

Sharing

Thank you to Di Taylor for sharing her studio with me today!!!  I hung out and worked on some small pieces for the afternoon.  She welcomed me in-- gave me a table, great music, and good company.  As well as some amazing Italian goodies from the shop next door!

It was good to spread out and work (don't know if the pieces are any good), but I truly enjoyed the experience working in a large studio along side another artist.  Great energy, inspiring woman. http://www.ditaylor.com.au/

Don't ask me to spell or pronounce these yummy treats!

Pistachio flavor, my favorite!

Springtime in WA

It is SO awesome to be walking down the street and see people's gardens blooming!!!  I see rose gardens with blossoms the size of my hand, hanging wisteria, poppies, geraniums, and so many more colorful flowers!

Ellis House in Bayswater

Out walking and taking pictures and happily found the Ellis House Community Art Centre.

"Ellis House was built in the early 1900's  and was the first dairy farm in the Bayswater district. By the mid 1990’s it had fallen to neglect and vandalism, but in 1995 it was refurbished by the City of Bayswater and is now a fine example of an early settler's home."

The exhibiting rooms were sprinkled with artists and their easels.  Met friendly artists, saw works in progress, and enjoyed the surrounding gardens (which will be the subject of their paintings this Thursday.)
